Did you ever watch 'On the Buses' and wonder what it would be like controlling one of these awesome beasts of the road? Well here's your chance to experience a double decker bus, in this unique driving session!You will learn how to manoeuvre a double decker bus safely around a pre-defined course with an experienced instructor by your side. This giant activity will give you an insight into what it's like to get on the buses! The short wheel base and long overhang takes a bit of getting used to, especially when manoeuvring into coned garages, pulling out of T-junctions and circumnavigating roundabouts. When can you go?This experience is available on selected weekdays and weekends, until 30th September 2007.DurationYou will spend 45 minutes at the wheel of the double decker bus.Key informationYou must be fit and able bodied to participate in this activity. The maximum weight is 114kg (18 stone).
